Public Involvement Committee Description:
Increase REALTOR® member involvement in local charitable causes with the following strategies:
Increase REALTOR® members’ community involvement by creating opportunities for members to volunteer in the community.
The Public Involvement Chair is responsible for disseminating information to the community about members’ involvement in the community.
Work with the Government Affairs to create awareness among members’ clients and the general public about the political process and increase the public’s involvement in the process with the following strategy:
Encourage voter registration to the general public by:
Holding an annual voter registration drive.
Visiting local areas – high schools, courthouses -- to encourage voter registration and participation.
